An efficient way to getting higher scores is to have as many "chain kills" as possible. Survive for as long as you can. A strategy to this game is to try to eliminate a lot of zombies in a short span of time to increase the multiplier. The score, in turn will give you more weapons and weapon upgrades to better slaughter this zombie horde.
